About Maa Vabotarini

Many saints have come to the land of Bengal and India. Some practiced devotion to the Mother, some to the Guru. I have come to practice devotion to the Mother. With reverence at the feet of my Gurudev, I dedicate myself to the Mother’s worship. That is why I have continued this spiritual practice of the Mother for a long time. I have never carried out this service to the Mother for social or financial reasons. I never want to accept donations for social recognition. It does not matter to me what society thinks of me! I have come for the service of the Mother and the Guru. Perhaps I carry ailments in my body, but with great effort, I maintain this sacred place. Today I am here, tomorrow when the time comes, I will go to the feet of the Mother. Thus, I continue this service as my duty and dharma, while also fulfilling my karma. From the soil of Bengal, I continue to serve India and the world. Through a Facebook page, I once shared some of my works with society. With the creation of 51 sacred Pithas (holy seats), many saints came not only to Bengal but also to other parts of India. Therefore, with respect for Sanatan Dharma, I sing a song in service of the welfare of the Divine Mother. The song is dedicated to the 51 Shakti Pithas for the well-being of the world. I don’t know how much Bengal will accept it, or how much India will honor it, but the song is in Hindi and Sanskrit. I hope saints who engage in divine practices will respect it, and those who hear it will share it with others. I ask for no monetary contribution in return. I bow to all Gurus of India and continue my life’s service to the Mother. Today I am alive, tomorrow I may not be! Thus, with respect for Dharma, I continue my service. In earlier times, the Shakti Pithas were created for the welfare of humanity, but today many of them have become centers of money-making. I believe the Mother does not accept services motivated by money. In Bengal, I have witnessed how places of worship have turned into businesses. If this continues, it will be society’s misfortune. True service to the Guru or the Mother cannot come through exploitation or force. God does not accept service that is born of oppression. Throughout my life, I have faced many incidents where the Divine Mother has saved me. In 1993, during riots where Hindus and Muslims were killing each other, I witnessed both hatred and unexpected unity. In many such situations, the Mother has saved my life. I strongly believe religion is meant for human welfare, not for creating hatred. No one has the right to despise another’s faith. I may honor my own religion, but I do not hate other religions. Dharma is universal. In my life, I have continued the service of the Mother without accepting donations. Even if you have wealth, do not try to offer it here. This is my humble request. Blessings of the Mother can be sought through prayer, but not with money. I have struggled, lived in poverty, even sold incense and lamps to survive, but I never made religion a business. With the blessings of the Mother and Guru, I continue this fight for Dharma and the welfare of humanity. Whether society accepts me or not, I will continue. The world today is collapsing under greed and selfishness. Places of worship that were once created for welfare have become businesses. Yet, I hope society will awaken. For God is One, eternal, and indivisible.
